Welcome to GodStories238!

 You’re not here by accident.

However you found this page, we believe it’s because God wants to remind you that you’re not alone.

If you already know the Lord, we praise God with you and encourage you to keep drawing closer to Him.

And if you don't know Him, we want to invite you to get to know Him. God loves you, and He desires a relationship with you.

No matter where you’ve been…
No matter what you’ve done…
No matter how far you feel from God…
He is closer than you think.

Now is the time to seek Him.
Not later. Not someday. Now.

“Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near.” — Isaiah 55:6

Knowing Jesus

What Does It Mean to Know Jesus?

What Does It Mean to Know Jesus?

What Does It Mean to Know Jesus?

To know Jesus isn’t about being perfect or having all the answers. It’s about relationship. It’s about trusting Him with your real life; your struggles, your questions, your fears, and your hopes.

For us, knowing Jesus has meant learning to lean on Him when we didn’t understand the journey, and discovering that He is faithful even in the waiting. It’s realizing that He knows your story, loves you right where you are, and still invites you to walk with Him.

Knowing Jesus also means understanding who He is and what He did for us; that He was obedient to the Father, willing to give His life out of love so that we could be forgiven, restored, and have a relationship with God.

Knowing Jesus isn’t about religion or rules; it’s about connection. Whether you’re strong in faith, searching, or finding your way back, Jesus meets you where you are and invites you into a relationship that brings peace, healing, and hope.

A Simple Prayer

What Does It Mean to Know Jesus?

What Does It Mean to Know Jesus?

If your heart is ready, you can pray this prayer:

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God.
I need You. I turn from my old ways and place my trust in You.
Forgive me, restore me, and lead me into a new life with You.
I choose You today. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, all of heaven is rejoicing. The Bible tells us that there is joy in heaven over one person who turns their heart back to God.

You are not alone, and you don’t have to walk this journey by yourself. We encourage you to get connected and grow in your relationship with Jesus.

If you need a place to worship or don’t know where to start, we would love to help. Just drop us a line, and we’ll do our best to guide you to a church or community where you can begin. And if our paths cross, we would be honored to meet you.

GODSTORIES238

Real Faith. Real Stories. A Real God.

GodStories238 was created to share real stories of faith, perseverance, and God’s faithfulness in the midst of real life.

God created mankind for a relationship with Him, but because of sin, that fellowship was broken. In His great love and mercy, God gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to restore what was lost and to reconcile us back to Himself.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

 — John 3:16 (KJV)

Through Jesus, salvation is offered; rescuing us from hell and securing eternal life with Him.

Though the enemy knows his time is short and seeks to deceive and destroy, those who come to Christ are not left powerless. Salvation brings the joy of the Lord, abiding peace, divine direction, and much more. God gives His people power and authority to overcome every tactic, every dart, and every assignment of the enemy. Through Christ, we do not merely survive this life; we walk in victory, awaiting His soon return.

Acts 2:38 reveals the beginning of the believer’s journey:

“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
— Acts 2:38 (KJV)

This moment marks new life in Christ; forgiveness, transformation, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. But scripture also teaches that after salvation, believers are called to stand because salvation does not remove opposition; it awakens it.

That is where the armor comes in. The Bible instructs us:

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
— Ephesians 6:11 (KJV)

The Knight represents this spiritual reality. Following Christ does not mean the absence of trials. We have an adversary, the accuser of the brethren who seeks to discourage, divide, and destroy. God, in His wisdom, equips His people to stand firm through spiritual armor, discernment, and truth.

Through Christ Jesus, believers are called to rise up, take authority, and walk in the dominion God has given them; not in fear, but in faith, obedience, and victory.

Rooted in Acts 2:38, GodStories238 exists to encourage believers to trust God through every season and remember that no battle is wasted when God is writing the story.
